In memory: Justin Schiefer, August 19, 2002

On August 19, 2002, Justin Schiefer, 23, a childhood friend, was needlessly murdered. As a memorial to Justin, I'll always remember the times together at Wilma Crawl and Iberia. Rest in peace, my friend.

 

In Memory: Randy See, March 23, 2003

On Sunday, March 23, 2003, Randy See, fellow classmate from Northmor High School, passed away. I'll always remember him as a friendly, gentle person. Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed.
 

In Memory: Cleo Johnson,

When I was working in the library, I worked with Cleo in the copy center. I'll never forget about hearing her stories about Brazil, her grandchildren, and answering the phone when her husband would call. I was saddened to learn in April that she came to illness, only to be taken from us because of it a month later. It sure was a honor to work with such a great person.
 

In Memory: Mitch Hedberg

One comedian who does top my favorite list would be Mitch Hedberg.  His one liners are a stroke of genius and make you think.  In memory, I walked to Subway and told them that they should not bother ringing up my sub, it's for a duck!  (They didn't get it)  He will never be duplicated and will be sorely missed.
