Course description:
3 Credit Hours
Prerequisites: ECON 233
An anallysis of institutional framework and objectives of the different economic systems combined with the political, cultural and philosophical systems and objectives of socialism, capitalism, communism, fascism and others. Special emphasis will be given to the preveiling economic institutions in the major countries in the world and ASIAN, NAFTA and E.U. Emphasis is on economies in transition as well as comparison of theory and practice of ideological and systematic movements of the world economy.
