Deborah Cochran is an Assistant Professor of Early Childhood specializing in early childhood and early childhood special education.  She teaches in the Early Childhood masters and bachelors plus graduate programs. . Her research interests include universal design of early childhood assessment and curricula and parent involvement.. She is active in the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC)Division of Early Childhood (DEC) and Council for Administrators of Special Education (CASE) and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD). Deborah has taught early childhood, early childhood special education and gifted.  She has been a special education and preschool supervisor.  Additionally, Deborah has conducted training for Head Start, public schools and early childhood programs.
